The PC Surgery has been trading for six years although its owner, Jamie Claret, has been in the industry for over ten. He has worked for large multinationals as well as smaller businesses. He is educated to degree level with hands on experience in virtually all areas of IT.

The business was started because Jamie noticed a real demand for an IT company that was not too ‘techy’. People wanted to deal with human beings and he felt that he could offer this service. Over the last six years Jamie has built the business up to have two full time staff. Wayne Johnson mans the phones and is there to resolve any technical issues remotely and over the telephone. Tony Young is our on site technician and likes nothing more than crawling around under your desk. Jamie, whilst still very much involved with the day to day technical aspects of the business spends the majority of his time generating new business and developing the business

Jamie recently sold a web development and hosting company DT Digital and has started to offer these services through The PC Surgery.

Most recently he has started writing a monthly IT article for the Institute of Legal Executives and would welcome any otehr publications that require comment or articles written in relation to IT and small businesses.

The plans over the next two years are to increase the level of staff and build the business progressively. He has long term plans for the business and is not going any where soon!
